Gumesei ! Meaning Welcome 😌
Kwanzaa is Year Round is a Pan-African digest celebrating the diaspora through the principles of Kwanzaa , all year round .
Kwanzaa is not just seven days on a calendar. It is African history, knowledge, culture, and celebration meant to be lived daily—in how we gather, how we remember, and how we protect what was entrusted to us. Year round devotion to unity, culture preservation, and collective care is how we keep Africa alive in every generation.
This is for our roots. This is for our people. This is for us—always. ✊🏾
Seremein,
I. ngame

At Keep It Run Hundred (KIRH), I felt the kind of welcome and recognition that only comes when community is truly at the center. As a Pan-African woman, being surrounded by black people who move with intention, joy, and love feels like stepping into a living expression of our shared lineage. My daughters played , laughed , ran and explored with the freedom every child deserves, while being embraced by beautiful people they now call “our run family.” Every 3 mile Thursday we participated in, echoed the first principle of Kwanzaa — Umoja. In this gathering, I felt the connectedness among African-descended people, the collective strength we build when we show up for each other, and the gentle power of maintaining harmonious relationships rooted in care. Keep It Run Hundred (KIRH) reminded me that unity is the foundation of our cultural grounding and empowerment, and in that unity, we all rise a little higher.
Thank you Keep it RunHundred for having us apart of the family ! Iba Umoja !
Aje !
